Wood-Fired Cooking Made Easy with Traeger Grills

Nothing says summertime like dinner on the grill. If you love the wood smoked flavor of steak, chicken, pork and more, check out the Traeger pellet grill now available at Yeagers.

The Traeger pellet grill is a multipurpose electric grill.  (Watch Jeremy from Yeagers demonstrate here). It can smoke, bake, grill, roast, braise or bbq. Operating the grill is as easy as plugging it in, pouring in the wood pellets and heating it up.  The wood pellets act like charcoal for your grill but they last about twice as long. They also come in a variety of wood flavors including hickory, cherry and mesquite. The grill takes about five minutes to heat up and then you’re ready to go.

All Traeger grills come with a cookbook offering a number of recipes as well as instructions for making all your favorites. For example, hamburgers go on the grill at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. You don’t even have to flip them as the fan blowing inside the grill circulates the air cooking the meat completely.

After you’re done using it, turn the grill to the shutdown cycle and let it cool off for about five minutes. You can then unplug it and put it away. Traeger grills are available at the Yeagers locations in Greenwood and Van Buren as well as the Jenny Lind store in Fort Smith.
